Mission Giving

At Christ Church we think it is really important to reach out to communities, near and far, to spread the good news of Jesus and share His love.

As part of this, we support the mission of others by making financial donations from our regular income to our mission partners and selected UK and overseas causes.

Please take a moment to visit their websites and find out more about what these fantastic organisations are doing to help people around the world.

Our mission partners are:

Mission without Borders – working in Moldova and Ukraine – https://www.mwbuk.org/

Church Mission Society – called to mission at the margins and cultural fringes to make disciples of Jesus – https://churchmissionsociety.org/

In addition, Christ Church supported the following organisations in 2025:

Christians Against Poverty tackling the causes of poverty and providing free debt help and counselling for people in financial difficulty – https://capuk.org/

Gloucestershire Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (GARAS). GARAS supports those seeking asylum in Gloucestershire, welcoming them when they arrive, advocating for them in their daily struggles, supporting them if they face being sent back and helping them adjust to their long-term future if they are recognised as ‘refugees’. GARAS works with those arriving within the asylum process and those being resettled here – https://www.garas.org.uk/

Maggies Cheltenham – providing free expert care and support for people with cancer – https://www.maggies.org/our-centres/maggies-cheltenham/

Let’s Talk Well supports children and young people aged 9-25 and their families living in Gloucestershire. Let’s Talk Well reaches hundreds of children and young people every year and offers support and advice to parents/carers and training for professionals – https://www.letstalkwell.org.uk/

We support Cheltenham Foodbank with regular deliveries of food donated by the congregation – https://cheltenham.foodbank.org.uk/
